Position Overview

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Case Reviewer/Analyst to join their client's team. This position is 100% onsite, focusing on reviewing medical and legal documentation to create detailed case summaries and analyses. The ideal candidate will have a strong nursing background and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

  • Review medical and legal documentation/records to develop medical chronologies and provide written case summaries and analyses.
  • Extract and analyze complex medical data.
  • Evaluate the appropriateness of treatments provided.
  • Assist in refining and improving case review processes.
  • Audit the work of other team members to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with team members, physicians, and clients to produce high-quality work products.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience with an active nursing license.
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and produce high-quality work.
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Word, and Google applications.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, medications, and common procedures/surgeries.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work is essential.
  • Must be a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to quality improvement.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
  • Willingness to continually learn new medical knowledge and concepts.
  • Must be able to stand/sit for long durations daily.
  • Prior experience in ER, Orthopaedics, Neurosurgery, Neurology, or surgery is a plus.
  • Prior experience with utilization review, developing medical chronologies, or legal experience is a plus.
